American Pie, a cult film about teenagers and their sexy adventures with each other, was what made Reid become a Hollywood star. She was the sexually virgin Vicky in the film. None of it led to a hugely successful Hollywood Career. Reid had a bad time with movies such as Josie and the Pussycats. It was a disappointing comeback for her career. Reid had a tiny appearance on the set of American Pie 2, but the film did not assist. Reid has more fame as a fashion designer as well as a party-goer as an actress than she does for her acting.
