Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz who is professionally known by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of Winona Ryder gave her the name of her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father as well as Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father was from the Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Ryder has two half-siblings younger than her, Jubal and Sunyata. In the year Ryder was only seven her family moved from Mendocino County, California. Mendocino County California. Here, they did not have electricity. Ryder, who was an avid reader when she was 12, became a bookworm because Ryder did not have access to television. Ryder began taking acting lessons in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12. In 1986 she was offered her first role on the big screen in the film Lucas at just fifteen years old. Ryder endured bullying while in highschool. She hoped acting might change the situation. But, unfortunately, that didn't happen. But she continued to pursue her dream. In 1988, when Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that gave her her first big break. Ryder played successful roles for numerous films. In 1993 Ryder was twice nominated in the Academy Awards. One of was for her performance in The Age of Innocence.
