April Ross
April Ross was one of just a handful of women beach volleyball players who have won medals during more than one Olympics. Alix Klineman is the newest Olympian and will join her in Tokyo. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, never had the opportunity to see Ross' daughter blossom into an international beach volleyball star. Ross's mother passed away from breast cancer when she was a sophomore in USC. This meant that Ross is still close to her parent who died. Margie has always been a source of inspiration for her on and off the beach.
