Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), is an Indian actress. She is a regular in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. The actress was honoured with an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri, who appeared in the Telugu film Mahanati. In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. Her first leading part in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In the year 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed up to appear in several Tamil films at the same time. Her first film release is A. L. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which was a co-production with Vikram Prabhu. The film didn't do well at the box office. A busy schedule during 2015 resulted in her having decide to pull out of projects that she was working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam in order to accommodate bigger projects. She consequently worked on two films together with Sivakarthikeyan within a short time, Rajini Murugan and Remo and also played the lead character in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. Though the release date for Janakitho Nenu is not yet announced, it is reported that it may be sometime in September of 2020. The film's premiere was in the film Nenu Sailaja with the actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was cast as Vijay on screen in Bairavaa by Bharathan, which premiered on the 17th of January, 2017.
